Y6 Residential Trip 2018 - Hayling Island

The coach left the village at 12:15pm. The approximate arrival time is now 3pm. The coach will hopefully park in the place it picked up from and  the children will be dismissed from the hall.

Many thanks :)

Homeward bound.....sleepy heads!!

Our last full day today 😒 Time flies when you’re having fun! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Today’s activities consist of archery, snorkelling, abseiling, initiative exercises, a sensory trail and climbing the gladiator wall.

Wednesday evening’s camp fire...

Wednesday Afternoon

More attempts at the gladiator wall this afternoon, wet and wacky fun and initiative team skills.

During our last session the children (and staff) took part in a dance workshop. We have some real movers in the year group ready to showcase their moves at the disco tomorrow! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Today the groups are climbing the gladiator wall, swimming/playing in the wet and wacky pool (😱), kayaking, doing a sensory trail and are set to go to the dance studio this afternoon πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸΌπŸ‘―‍♀️

Despite the dull start to the day the children are in good spirits and still attempting everything on offer.....

Tuesday night

Room inspections last night at 9pm πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ€ͺ

Very interesting!!!! Amazing what lengths children will go to, to hide the evidence. Some extremely tidy rooms, others not so much.

Another fun packed day! The children have taken part in the climbing wall, sensory trail, raft building and buggy building.

This afternoon we walked to the beach and the children spent some of their money in the gift shop, ice cream parlour and chip shop (lol 🀣)

Run around quiz is our evening activity....

The children are sending their love back home to you all πŸ’–

Morning......breakfast time ;)

Monday’s Activities

22:40pm- all the children are in their rooms (not asleep!!!!)

We’ve had great first day- raft building and taking part in the climbing wall.

Raft building was a flop- all rafts sank so children jumped in instead πŸ˜‚ (see photos)

This evening we watched some of the England match and played our own game against another school. Obviously we won πŸ’ͺ🏼 #bestschoolintheuniverse

Goodnight from your little cherubs πŸ€—
