At the beginning of the year, each class from Years 1-6 vote for two children to represent them and to be members of the school council. The School Council is basically the ‘voice’ for all the children at WHXPS. There are monthly meetings where all manner of things are discussed.
The School Council play a very important and responsible role at school and its members really enjoy being a part of it.
Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
This year, the school council will be led by Miss Curtis in KS1 and Miss Sivill in KS2.
